Intro to bladesmithing

This is a 2-3 day class for anyone wanting to learn how to get started in bladesmithing. You’ll learn how to hand forge, get some experience with a power hammer, learn to grind bevels, heat treat, put a handle on and finish a knife You will leave with the experience of making a hand forged knife and the knife itself.

This is a 2-3 day class for anyone wanting to learn how to get started in bladesmithing. You’ll learn how to hand forge, get some experience with a power hammer, learn to grind bevels, heat treat, put a handle on and finish a knife You will leave with the experience of making a hand forged knife and the knife itself.

For this class you will need to wear closed toed shoes (leather boots are preferred), and pants (preferably cotton, duck, or canvas, no poly blends).

I will provide safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection if needed.

You can bring any hammers or tongs if you would like but I do provide some for the class.

Safety is very important to me I reserve the right to remove any individual from my class for not following my safety recommendations and guidelines without refunds.
